Community Engagement Design

A masterplan and design of a childrens home for a rural Kenyan village designed to address the socially damaging effects of colonial land division and its resulting effect on human health. The site is intended to re create the village center with an orphanage, health clinic and library. Using solar energy, rainwater capture, soil conservation and passive black water treatment, the site is intended to be completely off the grid.
