Public Architecture

Woodmont Library was designed for King County Library Systems.  This project was an addition and renovation to an existing library that had very quickly outgrown the space provided. The design of the addition focused on creating a spacious, bright and exciting reading room.  This was archived through the structural design of the roof, which is raised above the existing roof bring in daylight through gracious clerestory windows. The addition has also created a clear presence on Pacific Highway South in Des Moines.
